Okay so I've been dying for a Wesker AV in SL forever. So I finally decided to get on that shit and see what happens. Mind you, my Wesker is still a bit in beta form, but I'm mostly pleased with how he turned out. I'm basing his appearance on the Umbrella Chronicles because.. hello black suit + Wesker? Do me. Nick is my first victim, because I can't well take a pic of myself with.. myself? X_X

1. I'm right handed. Well I write with my right hand, but I do nearly everything with my left hand. I scissor dog hair left handed, I bowl left handed, etc. I dunno why!

In the Shadow Hearts world, that means he's a human who can forge with the souls of demons he's defeated, and use their power as his own. How cool is THAT? He's a sarcastic punk with all the goods to back it up. He'll kick your ass, laugh at you and give you a bandaid, then kick your ass again. I love him.

Half demon, half man, Vergil is one half of the legendary Sparda's twin sons, and the cooler of the two, if you ask me. His swordsmanship is unrivaled, even by Dante. He won't even grace you with an insult before he slices you to ribbons with Yamato. SEXY!

His character is so well written and disguised, I had so much fun playing against him and learning about him over the course of the game. Not only does he have the best theme song in the entire world, he's a brilliant prosecuter with wit sharp enough to slice through steel. Plus, he has his own coffee blends. Made of win.

Hush little ba....WHAT?

So I've been feeling totally poopy the past week or so, physically. I'm tired all the time and stuffs. No big! And I was late. Yeah that late. So what's a girl to do? Freak out of course! I was all "Okay uh, um!!" and spazzing that I might be pregnant. Which would be weird, considering how careful we are. LOL. Anyway, I signed onto SL and luckily Bone was there to calm my nerves on how I should tell Nick. I mean I knew he wouldn't freak out or anything, but still. I've never had a pregnancy doubt in my mind. Ever. So ( thank you Bone! ) I got the right set of mind on how to tell Nick.

I cornered him, literally, after work on Friday, and told him what was going on. Amidst the dogs barking, he was like "What?" And I was like UGH Lmao! So he gave me a hug and said not to worry, because regardless he'd be there. Okay, that's good. But I was still scared to death. I got one of those super fast pregnancy tests because I think waiting 10 minutes would have killed me. Peeing on a little stick is weird, just so you know. Anyway!

We were both in the bathroom, and I was sitting on the floor with my face in my hands spazzing, and my calm-as-a-cucumber husband was leaning against the wall, looking at his watch. I couldn't look at the test so instead I just watched him. He was lightly drumming his foot on the tile, looking at his watch, looking down at me, shaking his head, and laughing a little. I could tell he was amused because he loves kids, and he'd make a great father, so inside I knew he was wishing it to be positive. And then I hear "Time's up."

I blink, and look at his face. He winked at me with that little smirk thing he does and headed to the sink to look down at the test. My whole body was like, frozen. I held my breath. Either way the end result, I'd breathe a huge sigh of relief. Not knowing is horrible! I felt like a deer in the headlights sort of thing. So Nick looks down at me, his face almost unreadable. But it was like a mixture of excitement and fear, but he pulled it off so not to freak me out.

"You got me a baby for Christmas?"

I about exploded. It was positive. I think I tried to say something but I could find no words beyond the whoosh of emotions I felt. He helped me up so I could have a look and we just sort of stood there in the bathroom in silence, before we started to laugh and hug. Becoming pregnant was something I had wanted to plan for, but this was really an unexpected but wonderful surprise.

So! I went to the doctor on Monday and found out I'm about six weeks pregnant! ZOMG! That explained all the tiredness and stuff. He walked me through everything that was going on with my body right then, and what to expect, and when to see him again, etc. I left the office with my hand on my stomach because.. carrying a life in there was a humbling expierence and nerve racking all at the same time.

We told our families, Nick's parents and mine were both excited, considering we're the last of their children to have children. Everyone else has like, 2 or some shit. I'll stick with one kthx LOL. But we've spent a lot of time talking about it, how we'll be as parents, and of course names.

I'm really excited. And scared. Nick is too, but he's all supportive and hopes for a son LOL. He'd be one of those "If you touch my daughter I know where to bury you." sort of dads. But we both hope and pray for a healthy baby. I just wanted to share all that with you guys, thanks for all the support!

Whut?!

Yeah it's that time of year again. Christmas! ( okay so I'm not such a huge fan of X-Mas as I am like, Halloween, but whatever! ) So I guess it's time for a little reflecting as we close this year, and step with ease into the next.

It's been a bit of a trying year personally, but thankfully, I'm surrounded by wonderful people who all help each other pull through things. ( Well MOST of them xD ) The number one person being my husband. I don't usually rant how wonderful he is, but I guess I can make an exception, just this once, lmao. Truth being, we may have our ups and downs like most people, but at the end of the day; I can look into his eyes, or touch him, and realize in this life and the next; he's the only one who can hold my mind, body, heart and soul at the same time, and do it well. *sniffles* I got all sentimental just then! And it doesn't hurt that our 5 year wedding anniversary is tomorrow, so I'm all like mushy and lovey dovey. I'm not a mushy girl, really. D: Lmao

Also, around the SL bend, I've met a slew of people this year. Most I'd like to forget, and a handful who I treasure. They know who they are. The ones who randomly throw toilets at me, the ones who convinced me to pose topless with her so she could show some guy! LOL, the ones who I worry about if I haven't seen them in a few days, the ones who hit on me relentlessly and KNOW they have no chance, and everyone in between. Really, you guys are wonderful, and I wish you the very best this Christmas and this new year. It's all well deserved.

Dubya tee eff? I'm alive? Well if you could call it living! I sort of feel like a really tired zombie who is nearly faceplanting into her glass of water! Why the long break you may ask yourself. I don't know, lol. I read blogs and forget I have my own I think. But I've never been good at keeping journals and diaries and stuff either, so mega fail! Work has been pretty nutters because of the holidays all coming and stuff, so bleh. Nick's been swamped too so we're like, %#@%.

In other news! I inherited a Bearded Dragon who I aptly named Horatio. He's so cute, I'll have to post pics when I can find my USB thing for my camera. He likes to haul ass around the house and eat celery. XD I luff my lizard. Also, since my dearest Bone asked about punk music the other day, I've been on a non-stop kick of punk and ska music I listened to when I was like, 13. It owns. How I forgot the Blue Meanies existed is beyond me, they're fucking fabulous. It takes me back to a time when going to Off the Alley was the shiznat, we partied with the Tossers, and music was everything. Good times!!

Well I have a little more to say than just that LOL. That's my latest attempt at neat photo stuff in SL with no photoshop! Models as usual, me + Nick. I use a website called picnik.com to change the filters and lighting of the pics I take in SL. I couldn't understand photoshop even if I had it, so this is easy for me LOL. I'll never be as good as those other photo people but I like to practice and mess around with stuff just to see how they turn out. I do have to thank Nicholas though for being so patient with me XD. Yeah uh huh I know, what's with the huge gap of posting time, Miang?! Truth being, I was totally sick, working a lot, and the like. I'm such a slacker! But I promise this post will be interesting!

Okay so I've noticed a LOT of cat people, or if you will; "neko" in SL. Which boggles me. I like cats. I just don't care too much for cat people I guess? Maybe because I'm so desensitized to them now, it doesn't make me interested anymore. Or maybe because furry and hybrid animal people confuse me for some reason, I don't know. Anyway, I've noticed a lot of men tend to be attracted to cat women for reasons unbeknownst to me, so I decided to conduct a silent experiment.

I headed over to a popular hangout/shopping place filled with alternative gothy people and furries and cosplayers and all that sort of stuff, as just myself. No cat parts yet; just to see how much attention I'd get from male or female people. Least to say, it wasn't too much, a lot of people were wrapped up in their own conversations to notice I was there. Which is fine by me, by all means; really. I stayed for a good half hour with minimal attention before closing for the night. So LAST night is when I decided to try out my idea.

During the Halloween ghost grid hunt, I got a neat tail and ear set from Sn@tch for free. It's all twitchy and stuff, how cute. Orange tabby. So I threw them on, got dressed as normal, and went to the same place. Oddly enough... the attention spent on me nearly doubled. I had countless "Hi Miang :)" to just "Hi." to "Meoooww." and "Here kitty kitty." and all that crap. I was giggling IRL because well, it was funny? What is it about feline hybrids that make men more attracted to them? Is it because; as a general thing; felines are more of a sensual creature than canines? They move differently, are sneaky, change moods faster than who knows what, and are frisky and playful? I couldn't quite put my finger on it, because I'll never see the attraction. But Bone is the only one of my friends who saw me in that get up... YOU CAN DELETE THE PIC NOW, BONE!!

Speaking of Bone, I just read his blog about class vs. trash in the world of SL, and all the good points brought up by others. Bingtards and skanky hoochie mamas are stupid and not sexy. ~fin. That sums it up! I've seen some seriously gorgeous male avatars that make me look twice ( and maybe stare a bit ) and some absolutely beautiful female avatars ( that make me ask them where they got their clothes ). And you know... they're always dressed impeccably well suited for their look; classic, grungy, punky, or just simply plain and everything in between. Carrying oneself with class and modesty is ALWAYS sexier than some ho in a latex suit running around. Always. Same thing with all those shirtless guys running around. Nick has a *gorgeous* skin and it makes me O_O everytime I see it, but the better DRESSED he is, the sexier he is to me. And that's about it.

A bit far off but that!....is sexy! :D!

OMIGAWD LOOK IT'S... okay yeah I have no idea what I'm pointing at, and why I'm so excited about it. Nick seemingly doesn't know either.

And we never did get M or D for the lucky chair!! Bleh! Anyway on a more serious note, there is something I want to address concerning my marriage and SL.

I never really thought I'd have to explain any of this, but if it helps to clear up any confusion people might have over myself or Nick and how we are in SL, then it helps. We've talked a bit at length about this in the past few days over unnamed events so a blog is a good a place as any to try and give an explanation. Firstly, I'm not going to speak for Nick. He's a big boy and can handle his own shit when he has to, so this is coming straight from conversations I've had with him, and stuff he's gathered from others.

SL to me is a game, and that's about it. I've met truly wonderful people who I simply adore as great persons and friends, but that's all. Friends. Yes I'm a flirt and I hit on other guys in front of my husband. I know the majority of people don't freak out about that. But some do, and that's okay. I won't tease on you if it makes you uncomfortable that I'm married. But I try to make the line as clear as crystal: none of that is crossing over into my real life. I don't want your phone number, or your address, or to phone sex with you. I've had seriously strange and scary expierences with online games with men who go to far, and that is absolutely not happening here. I flirt in SL because I can, and it's safe, and I don't hide or lie that I'm not married. My husband will tell you up front he doesn't mind, and I don't mind when women ( OR MEN LOL ) hit on him in SL either. ( Obviously XD! ) Neither of us hide that we're married, or very much devoted to each other. But if it makes some people feel a bit uncomfortable I can understand that most certainly now. ( Btw this is directed at absolutely no one in particular LOL I'm just venting while trying to explain how I feel. )


After talking with Nick a bit about how SL is such an extension of real life, I've come to realize how much of that I didn't understand. How married people can fall in love with people in SL and stuff. But to me, and to him as well I'm sure; it's like talking in an IM on AIM, or an email. Sure it's more personal because you can do so much more in SL, but I've played -tons- of online games controlling pretty avatars and I guess I never got emotionally involved? Or maybe because it's just the roleplay factor of games, where you can turn around to the other person controlling their character and be like "Wow this is a great story!" I dunno I guess I was just sort of blind to people's real feelings in SL, because I didn't see any of it or understand I guess. I think I just thought of SL as just another huge MMORPG or something, and I can see now how it totally isn't.

Basically, sorry for boring any readers! LOL. I'm just trying to understand and be more respectful of the real feelings behind avatars. What's fine for myself and Nick may not be fine for someone else and that's all right. ( I'm still going to hit on you, Bone. :D LOL ) But yeah, if anyone feels uncomfortable with me hitting on them or teasing them, please tell me. I wouldn't want to lose friends or anything over something I can easily change.

That's about it I think! Now that I've bored everyone to sleep, including myself. :X! As far as I know Nick is still on a brief hiatus from SL but I'm still around ^^ I hope I didn't make anyone more confused, if you are, don't hesitate to talk to me! Slacker!

Yeah I'm a slacker I know it! But this post will make up for it. Anyway, Nick and I decided to try and be sexy in SL, which we thought would be totally weird because we're like 10 feet apart irl. So like, why bother, right? Well we gave it a shot, and here are the results!

I'm not entirely sure what's going on with this pose, but Nick appears to have killer upper body strength! Attempt to be sexy no. 1: FAIL.

Holding onto a gorgeous man is always a wonderful thing, but I couldn't seem to stay serious about it because a family of blingtards walked past. Attempt to be sexy no.2: FAIL.

I think we were somehow teleported into a child birth class in this one, and Nick is such a wonderful coach! BREATHE!! Attempt to be sexy no.3: FAIL.

After all the painful attempts to be sexy in SL, we decided to head home. Then, we finally got it right. Attempt to be sexy no.5: EPIC WIN.

So what's the secret to being sexy in SL when your husband is sitting 10 feet away from you irl? PATIENCE!! It's sort of difficult to concentrate when I can just get up and have my way with him right there LOL X_O! We had a blast trying all the poses though and cracking up at the really funny ones. Okay, back to bed. I'm going to a grooming show this afternoon but it's a long drive so Zzz is good! Baaiii!

IT BURNZ!

Well besides the fact I almost got my nose broken at work, I have a hilarious blog to post. Nick and I just went on our SL date, the one we kept meaning to do, but kept forgetting. LOL. On with it!!

First, we started off with a romantic dance on a lighthouse, of all places. I was pretty impressed with the location, considering he found it all by himself.


Then, Nick swooned me by playing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star on the piano. I was smitten.

Then we went on this horrible haunted house ride. The only thing scary about it was that it didn't load all the way! But the laughs were worth it.

LOL he made the promise of the abandoned warehouse come true, halp meeee! ROFL

So after all that insanity, we decided to head to a good ol' southern bayou and get hammered.

Then we had a cute moment, with Stevie Ray Vaughan playing in the backround.


Then Kenny Wayne Shepherd started playing and we went batshiat' crazy!

Suddenly, Nick became the Patrick Swayze to my Jennifer Grey and we warped into Dirty Dancing!


Alas, we fell down exhausted and made out! What a great end to a date!

So, I had a wonderful time, LOL. Even through the lag, the scary people who like .. just stand there and stare at you, and everything else. It was a great surprise ^^b Luff.

In other news, I was going to blog about all of the lovely new people I met yesterday, but I was asleep. :/ So I'll do it now! Kweh!! Calista, Cailin, LK, Laleeta ... LOL meeting all of you was absolute awesomeness. I love hanging out with you guys and just being ourselves!
